Southborough Autism Therapy Center
The first goal of Applied Behavior Analysis is to listen and learn. Our process starts with understanding the strengths and needs of the individual and their caregivers. We don’t aim to change the person or any of their functional traits and characteristics. We celebrate neurodiversity. We work with caregivers to identify skills that are functional, significant, and meaningful. Applied Behavior Analysis can rightfully be viewed as skill building! This type of therapy can assist with increasing communication skills, as well as improving attention, social skills, and academics. We can teach a variety of adaptive skills such as vocational competences, social interactions, hygiene and motor abilities.
