Job Responsibilities

Conduct initial & ongoing assessments and write progress reports

Develop & monitor individualized treatment plans and behavior support plans

Supervise and train ABA Therapists

Develop and monitor individual behavior management protocols and behavior intervention plans for children

Provide support, instruction, and feedback to families and caregivers with regard to managing challenging behaviors and teaching replacement behaviors

Conduct Functional Assessments and Functional Analysis of all problem behaviors

Review program effectiveness, make recommendations, monitor data collection, and chart progress

Requirements

Degree in MA/MS in ABA or related

Crabapple Based Behavior Therapist- ABA
$20 – $25 an hour – Part-time

Our organization is currently hiring motivated, skilled and experienced ABA behavioral therapists to join our team in DeKalb.

We are in need of motivated, passionate, capable ABA behavioral therapists in Crabapple who have a love of the field, experience and are ready to join our team of caring professionals. In this role, you’ll be providing ABA services and support for children living with autism. Guiding and supervising your work will be a behavioral supervisor (BCBA) also based in the Crabapple area. You’ll be working with families in their homes in Crabapple or the close surrounding areas, implementing ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy programs established by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst‎).

Job Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy

Arrive on time and prepared for therapy sessions

Provide in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy

Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions

Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors

Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
